Just like car manufactures firearm manufactures often use recycled materials to keep costs down during their production process. For the average gun owner there is nothing wrong with that, but for the consumer who uses their products on a consistent basis and often in strenuous conditions those parts wear faster and sometimes fail in use. For this customer we have a Smith & Wesson .380 Bodyguard take down lever that has failed, we are making a replacement OEM clone but out of Titanium!
